Description
Single-sided 10" 78rpm Columbia record from early 1900s featuring ragtime banjo, anonymous, probably Ruby Brooks.
Columbia 294 - Banjo Solo - Salome Intermezzo
Some sources attribute this recording to Ruby Brooks, others to Vess Ossman. Brooks recorded the same piece around the same time for Columbia's Climax label (also numbered 294), so I think the performer is probably Brooks.
Acoustically recorded. In E- condition with just some light surface marks and light play wear. Plays loud, bright, and clear, with some hiss and rumble as you would expect from a disk of this vintage. Label is clean and bright (see photos).
Record will be shipped in newer generic sleeve and will be packed securely in a sturdy box. Free shipping by media mail in USA. No packing or handling charges. No reserve. Payment is by PayPal only, please. I will gladly ship overseas and charge for actual postage only, but please be aware that overseas shipping can be expensive - you may want to email me for an estimate before bidding.
