Description
This is a very rare record. The festival occurred in 1970 Laguna Beach, CA over Christmas. It was initiall supposed to be a small, 1 day event but turned into "Woodstock West". The recording of it didn't show up until about 30 years after. No one knows how many exist, but it isn't many. Another mystery surround the record is who exactly are the bands? A few have come forward, but others are still speculated. It's really a fascinating story.
The condition of this is poor. The cover is dingy and torn on the top, and as you can see, there is writing on it as well. The actual record is a little better. There are light scuffs, but I listened to the whole thing all the way through and it doesn't skip.
I came across this record in 2008 at Vinyl Solutions in Huntington Beach, CA when I was there on business. I saw the record in the bin and had no idea what it was, but i knew it looked unique. So i bought it for $2.99 and brought it back to FL. I had honestly forgot about it until i was loading my collection into Discogs and saw someone selling one for $850. That's when I started researching it.
