   For sale is 10,000 Maniacs' The Wishing Chair, originally released by Elektra Records in 1985. In the dead wax between the labels and the last tracks are the matrix numbers A-2/B-1, indicating that an early stamper was used to make this first pressing. This is a hallmark of superior sound quality from state-of-the-art engineering and manufacturing, highly sought after by collectors and music lovers. I bought this used, professionally cleaned it on my VPI HW-17 machine and immediately put it into a MFSL archival inner sleeve.  This preserves the integrity of the vinyl as well as any original insert(s) or inner sleeve(s) that may have come with the release. The inner sleeve is Near Mint. The vinyl is visually graded as Excellent with slight sleeve marks and play graded as Excellent with occasional surface noise barely noticeable except during the quietest passages. The cover is graded as Excellent because of stress cracks along the edges and a small dent at the opening. The spine is Near Mint. This is the best copy of this hard to find record that I have ever seen or heard and you would be hard pressed to find one like this one ever again. It's been played only on Audiophile equipment since I've owned it and still has a lot of life left to it. This would make a great addition to a anyone's collection.
