- All of our used records are play-graded and come in a protective outer-sleeve.
CONDITION DETAILS Import from Europe. Made in Germany. Vinyl plays nicely (play-graded). Cover looks great; a couple creases near edges; very light-scuffing and surface impressions (front/back); tiny surface abrasion near bottom-center on front. Inner-sleeve is original (photos/lyrics/credits). Spine is easy-to-read with very mild-wear. Little shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge; minor wear to corners, especially bottom-right corner. Opening is crisp with signs of light use, tear near bottom on front, and divots. Jacket and inner-sleeve have different cataolg number and says Printed in USA. (Not a cut-out.)
ABOUT THE RECORD The Wishing Chair is the first major-label album by 10,000 Maniacs. Recorded in London, the album did not achieve the commercial success some of their later releases would receive, but received mostly favorable reviews and brought the band more visibility than had their previous independent releases. A live concert video of Scorpio Rising was produced and received a moderate amount of airplay on MTV.
