AMERICAN TOP 40
CASEY KASEM 10/4/72 3LP box
Condition VINYL: EX+ to NM (play graded) LABELS: I removed name stickers on the A sides of all 3 LPs There is a little red staining on 2A & I did some damage on 3A THE BOX: I'm not grading this as I did quite a bit of work on it. A piece was/is missing on the top right & there were big pieces missing off the top edge. It might not have even qualified as a G. I found another box in nice shape that matched the size & color of this of the original box. I'm using the bottom of that box. I used wood glue & cloth tape & turned the original bottom of the box upside down & glued it into the inside of the top to give it solid sides.. Anyway now it is a pretty solid functional box. (see pix)

There will be some surprises here. I believe the judgement of the greatest 1950's Rock & Roll acts was based on how much time the acts had songs on the charts, not who was genuinely the better artists, so I'm sure that like me, you will disagree as to which/who were actually better
I put rounded poly sleeves inside the original generic sleeves .
This box has a great line-up of stars singing. Without giving away the order here are some of them.

THIS WILL BE EXTREMELY WELL PACKED.
Just a side note this vinyl is the opposite of "deep groove". The grooves are very superficial so the tiniest bit of stray grit can cause more sound defects than deeper groove pressings. On the other hand the grit is easier to get off as it doesn't get stuck in the deeper groves.
