This album was the fourth release for the now stella band. It was let loose on the British public on April the 16th 1966 and onto the US public by the 20th of June 1966 (by London Records, rather than the Decca label).
This album was the very first album to contain ONLY compositions of Jagger and Richards-so this proved to be a breakthrough for the band. Reaching number 1 in the UK and number 2 in the USA (again with different track listings for UK and US releases).

Vinyl:
143g QUALITY HEAVYWEIGHT
POOR+. I have played her all the way through but some background noise, due to the many marks to the vinyl. As well as some tiny and quick skips, due in most part to the edge warp. No sticks. So this baby is for framing....Or keeping as one of the very 1st pressed from back in 1966!
STILL BLASTS OUT THE MAJORITY OF THE TRACKS ON THE ALBUM WITH DECENT AUDIO AND WITHOUT SKIPS

Labels: VG. There are some spindle marks visible but very little hole wear.
NO WRITING
Deep and clear Decca grooved UNBOXED label....one of the 1st of the press!

FREE FROM ANY SPLITS
The back card is only very lightly discolured through the passage of time but somebody has coloured in the top, middle logo, with a small name next to it.

Solid, legible spine.

Inner: VG. It is the ORIGINAL DECCA inner, with the plastic lining and the boxes to the front and "Made In England" to the bottom left corner.
NO splits to the seams, just discolouration from age.

A VERY 1ST PRESSING OF THIS ICONIC ALBUM-YOU CAN'T GET MUCH EARLIER THAN THIS.
FRAME THIS LITTLE BEAUTY OR KEEP AS A FILLER-BUT REMEMBER THE AUDIO HAS SOME OCCASIONAL FAULTS.
