This album was the fourth release for the now stella band. It was let loose on the British public on April the 16th 1966 and onto the US public by the 20th of June 1966 (by London Records, rather than the Decca label).
This album was the very first album to contain ONLY compositions of Jagger and Richards-so this proved to be a breakthrough for the band. Reaching number 1 in the UK and number 2 in the USA (again with different track listings for UK and US releases).

VG. I have just given her a listen to and WOW-how raw! Turn it right up and clear yer ears out!! There are light needle marks to the vinyl, but nothing to make her jump or skip
She played through with some light background noise and pops, which I am sure will be helped with a professional clean.
Side 2 had less background noise and sounded lovely and raw.
NO SKIPS OR JUMPS
Check out the DEEP bass when 'Under My Thumb' kicks in.
FLAT as the day she was born.

Labels: EX-. There are just light spindle marks visible but very little hole wear.

Sleeve: VG!! As you can see by the detailed images, the cover is in a great solid condition.
The back card is only very lightly discolured through the passage of time....Nothing bad at all.

Inner: EX. It is the ORIGINAL poly-lined DECCA inner, with the dotted boxes to the front and "Made In England" to the bottom left corner. NO splits to the seams, barely any discolouration from age either!
Certainly done her job by looking after this record all this time.
Also carries the much rarer and early 'PATENTS APPLIED FOR' text.
