Description

12 Rare 1950s Cisco Kid Episodes on 16" OTR Radio Transcription Discs/Records.
There are a total of 12 full Cisco Kid episodes represented on the 12 discs with each episode recorded as two "sides" (part 1 on one side of a disc and part two on one side of a second disc).
The discs play at 33 1/3 rpm.
Produced and distributed by the Frederic W. Ziv Co. and originally broadcast in the early 1950s.
THIS IS LOT #2 OF 2 CISCO KID LOTS I CURRENTLY HAVE FOR SALE.   The two lots combined have all the full episodes I have.  Most of the episodes within the two lots are unique to what I have.  I also have a couple of these episodes that are duplicates and several others that are "orphaned" (a single discs of a two disc set) that I intend to sell at a future date.
Episodes likely start from 1950.  Lower numbered programs are likely the earlier episodes.  Included episodes in this lot:

  • Program 337 and 338 – Counterfeit Money and Storm on the Lake
  • Program 351 and 352 – The Case of Diamond Joe and The Water Thief
  • Program 473 and 474 – The Fighting Sheriff Clancy and Barbed Wire War
  • Program 691 and 692 – The Lady Blacksmith and The Two Sheriffs of Mesa
  • Program 693 and 694 – The Road to Murder and Knives of Death
  • Program 795 and 796 – Dual to the Death and The Promise
NOTE!!!!!!!:  These are vintage and authentic 16" transcription discs sent to radio stations in the 1950s around the U.S. to be played over the air as episodes of the classic Cisco Kid syndicated radio show.  It is likely very few of these records ever existed and far fewer still exist.  While they are highly collectible, the discs cannot be played on an ordinary 33 rpm turntable meant for 12" discs (the distance between the tone arm attachment and the platter center hole is usually not great enough to handle a 16" record).
I have listened to a few of these discs and they sound fabulous.  Just a little dusty.
Quick to ship.  Shipping will be by USPS, Fedex, or UPS.
