Description
12 Cisco Kid Partial Episodes 1950s ~ Rare 16" Transcription OTR Radio Ziv
The voice of MEL BLANC playing Pancho on most of the discs.
There are a total of 12 PARTIAL Cisco Kid episodes represented on the 6 discs with each episode having only “Part 1” OR “Part 2” but not both. Each disc in the photo has part 1 or part 2 of two different episodes.
The discs play at 33 1/3 rpm.
Produced and distributed by the Frederic W. Ziv Co. and originally broadcast in the early 1950s.
Episodes 161/162 look to be from 1950. The remainder are from the early 1950s.
The higher number episodes have the voice of Mel Blanc playing Pancho and perhaps other characters.
- Program 161 and 162 part 2 – The Phantom Bandits and Cisco Takes the Trail (3 copies)
- Program 611 and 612 part 1 – Son of Buckskin Joe and The Captured Sheriff
- Program 689 and 690 part 2 – Man Hunt and Builders of the Road (2 copies)
- Program 691 and 692 part 2 – The Lady Blacksmith and The Two Sheriffs of Mesa
- Program 695 and 696 part 1 – The Emperor of Santa Fe and House of Cold (2 copies)
- Program 713 and 714 part 2– The Fight in Shadow Gorge and The Black Skull Gang
NOTE!!!!!!!: These are vintage and authentic 16" transcription discs sent to radio stations in the 1950s around the U.S. to be played over the air as episodes of the classic Cisco Kid syndicated radio show. It is likely very few of these records ever existed and far fewer still exist. While they are highly collectible, the discs cannot be played on an ordinary 33 rpm turntable meant for 12" discs (the distance between the tone arm attachment and the platter center hole is usually not great enough to handle a 16" record).
I have not play tested these particular discs but other discs from this group play and sound fantastic and these look to be in great condition.
I CURRENTLY ALSO HAVE A GROUP OF FOUR OTR CISCO KID FULL EPISODES FOR SALE FROM THE SAME ERA.
Quick to ship. Shipping will be by USPS, Fedex, or UPS.
