Description

This a 12", 78 rpm recording of The Clang of the Forge as performed by Emilio de Gogorza and released as a Deluxe Record by Victor, number 31326.

Emilio was American born and sang in many languages but, being near sighted kept him from performing in operas. He recorded mostly for Victor under his own name and aliases Carlos Francisco and Herbert Goddard.  Also, as an A&R man for Victor, he helped major opera stars such as Enrico Caruso sign with the company.

The record is in Very Good + with obvious use but no major scratches or marks.
Plays with typical surface noise with no skips or major scratches.
