Professionally cleaned with a Pro-Ject VCS MkII Vacuum record cleaner.

Released on the 17th of April 1964, this album was the first Stones' album on the DECCA label. There have been many pressings of this album in the following years-With the first AND second pressings having the shortened version of MONA. This pressing is the 2nd, with the corrected and longer version of 'I Need You Baby' (Later: 'Mona')

The vinyl

Super audio.....Only light marks to her....I have just listened to ALL of it and it just sounds like the Stones at their raw best!
Deep rich bass and clear audio sound reproduction!!!
Only very light and VERY occasional light background crackle even quiet on the run ins!!
I noticed one tiny, tiny skip-right at the start of side 2-I think this could be played over with a slightly heavier stylus than mine...
She is lovely and flat-a real beauty to listen to...Just to hear the start of something huge!

Clear and bright, with the lucious deep red colour associated with the first early MONO pressings. They light traces of spindle marks as well as some minimal hole wear....Please see the detailed photo's.

The sleeve

THE 2nd PRINTING OF THIS ICONIC COVER.
DOES not have the 'Mono' to the back top right corner.
It is a good solid cover but does have quite a few spidering emanating areas to the front laminate.
To the back card is some tape residue for some reason-as it is not split or torn..??...A fan has also some great buzz words from the era: "GAS!" "FAB!" etc...I find it quite endearing..."You can't beat it"...

 It is THE ORIGINAL INNER-with the stars to the front and with the plastic lining. The paper has a quality weight too.
Just light creasing, as well as a small name to both sides.

All in all this copy of The Stones' first album has a wonderfully rich audio reproduction, which in itslef is VERY HARD TO FIND...Most of these were taken to wild parties and trashed.
THE COVER HAS SOME WEAR, BUT WOULD STILL LOOK GREAT FRAMED.
ALL TOGETHER IN A LOVELY EARLY ORIGINAL INNER YOU-IN SUPERB SHAPE!
