13th Floor Elevators "The Psychedelic Sounds Of The 13th Floor Elevators" LP original 1966 International Artists IA-LP-1 stereo original pressing with the solid green labels.
I purchased this record in 1966 and it is from my personal collection. It is not a reissue.
The jacket is in "NM-" condition with very faint ringwear on the bottom of the front cover, no edgewear, seam splits or cutout holes (see photos). I have had a few inquiries regarding the shading on the left edge on the back cover asking if it is water staining. It is not water stained but has mild age foxing typical of a 50 year old jacket. The photo shows it as a lightly darkened area. I store all my albums in heavy gauge vinyl outer sleeves.
The vinyl is in "EX" condition with superficial surface scratches and scuffs but it plays very nicely with no skips or pops; matrix numbers are B1/B1; the record has been stored in a poly lined paper sleeve since purchase.
Vinyl grading is conservative and based on the following criteria:
“SS” Still Sealed – For the collector that demands nothing but perfection.
“M” Mint - a near perfect or unplayed record.
“NM” Near Mint - in factory fresh condition, like new.
“EX+” close to like new with only superficial signs of use that don't affect play. Will satisfy all but the most vain and demanding collector.
“EX” a used, reasonable copy. Shows slight signs of wear.
“VG+” There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility a few skuffs and/or light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, but still quite nice.
