Up for sale is an original 1967 stereo misprint (Posturos on rear jacket) pressing of The 13th Floor Elevators: Easter Everywhere
Jacket is in G+ condition and the record is in G to G- condition. Does not contain the lyrical inner sheet.
Jacket has wear to the front that isn’t uncommon to find on this album, and there is also some wear to the rear jacket. Rear has the name “SMITH” written neatly in top right and also in the bottom left, but much smaller. All the seams are still strong, and there are no splits or cracks.
Now for the record. Like I said, it’s in G to G- condition, so there is constant crackle under most songs with occasional clicks and pops, but it is usually overpowered by the music. Most notable in quieter sections and between songs. There are many scratches on the vinyl, with several of them being feelable with your finger. The deepest scratch is on Baby Blue on side 1.
Here is the unfortunate part; there are a few skips that I experienced on my system (Technics SL-1200MK3). One skip during Slide Machine, one skip during Nobody to Love, and one skip during Baby Blue. Side 2 plays much better, I’d say in G+ condition, and I experienced no skips there. I also want to add that the person I bought it from only experienced the one skip on Baby Blue, and the two other skips were only experienced by me. It could possibly play better on your machine. I tried my best to capture pictures of all of the scratches and blemishes.
