Description
Ok, it pains me to part with this one, but here it goes. This auction is for a copy of the Elevators' classic debut lp, THE PSYCHEDELIC SOUNDS OF THE 13TH FLOOR ELEVATORS. But what makes this copy so special? It was SIGNED by bassist Benny Thurman, drummer and founder John Ike Walton, producer/engineer of "You're Gonna Miss Me" Walt Andrus and, of course, the man himself, ROKY ERICKSON. I got this lp autographed by these living legends in Austin at a once-in-a-lifetime event for the great book Eye Mind by Paul Drummond. There is an archived link with info about the event here:

Benny, Roky and Walt signed the front and John Ike, in true John Ike fashion, signed the back with the added distinction of "Founding Father". Great!
If only this could be a dead-stock original on International Artists, but alas! This is, however, the legitimate WEA/Radarscope issue of the album with brilliant sound, not some flimsy new reissue taken from dubious sources. The cover and vinyl are in beautiful NM condition (minus the signatures, ha).
