Hi ! Up for auction is a used copy of the 13th Floor Elevators 1968 album "Bull of the Woods" released on International Artist Records, Houston, Texas. Catalogue number is IA-LP 9. This is a stereo pressing. Record features the original green label with silver print. An independent pressing. According to the Rockin' Records guide, this is an orignal pressing because it does not have 'Masterfonics' stamped in the dead wax. The IA Masterfonics were re-issued in 1979. The record itself is VG/VG+...it looks like it was only played a few times and then shelved. It does have a few light marks but nothing that affects playback. The label is in very good shape; all print is intact and clear. There are a couple of light spindle marks. We played this back with a Sumiko Pearl cartridge. Sounds pretty good. Side one was not pressed right on center because upon playback, the tone arm will sway from side to side a little bit. Side two is not make the tone arm sway too much. The cover is VG-/VG with some wear in places. There is some light ring wear on both front and back but not too bad. Corner dents are fairly minimal except for a moderate dent and crease combination in the lower left-hand corner. No writing to be found. The spine is in good shape however there is no text so it might be tricky to pick out when it is shelved. Other than that, the cover is pretty clean, overall. No major damage, no seam splits or major shelf wear. Go ahead and check out the photographs for a further visual description.
