This Lp was released on the 10th July 1964. The 45rpm was released in April and at that time the Beatles' film had yet to get a title and as the story goes, Ringo emerged from a long days work saying "It's been a hard day," then seeing it was already dark added " 's night." This was then announced to the press as the title on the 17th of April. Ringo may have seen this phrase before in Lennons book "Sad Michael."
Holding a number 1 postition for a huge 21 weeks, from July the 25th!!!
This is also the ONLY Beatles album to have every track written by Lennon/McCartney.

Lovely heavy vinyl.
There are ony very light marks to the vinyl, with the audio remaining superbly clear.
**PLAY LOUD-WOW-FULL OF ENERGY**
I have just listened to the whole album and thoroughly enjoyed the audio playback.
I found VERY LITTLE background noise throughout, with the background noise being only very occasional and light!

ALSO HAS THE CHUBBY TEXT TO BOTH SIDES-SHOWING THIS TO BE THE VERY 1st PRESSING.
The title of track 2, side 1 is on 2 lines-showing this to be the very 1st pressing here.

LOVELY SOLID COVER
Solid, small mono in top right corner. Shiny front cover...With some small fingers of spidering to the edges of the front laminted cover and a line to the bottom left corner. One tiny and neat 1cm split near the opening-nothing at all to worry about.
NO WRITING.
The corners have some light rubbing/knocking.
With some light rubbing to the bottom edge and a light water stain to the top edge.
The Garrod and Lofthouse flipbacks are in wonderfully strong condition.
STRONG, LEGIBLE spine.
Has "Patents Pending" to back bottom right corner flipback.

It is the very 1st and all original 'USE EMITEX' inner with a tracing-paper-like lining.
With the much rarer text "PATENTS APPLIED FOR" to one side.
However two sides have come away from each other, but could be glued back together....As well as a split to the bottom.
But no writing and would look superb framed as you wouldn't be able to tell and it would just look perfect in a frame.
