The Beatles
Let It Be.
1st Press S.African LP
Stereo.
PCSJ 7096

This was the Beatles' thirteenth and final album release. Let It Be was originally released as a Box Set, with "The Beatles Get Back" book. Of course the album went straight to the number 1 position within the Melody Maker, New Musical Express and Record Retailer charts. It stayed there for 3 weeks from the 23rd of May 1970. The release date was the 8th of May 1970 for the box set and the 6th of November for normal album release.
NOW-here's an opportunity to get hold of a TOP AUDIO copy of this pretty rare album...Not many of these turn up from the S.African pressing.

Catalogue Number: PCSJ 7096

Matrix numbers:
Side 1: YEX 773-1
Side 2: YEX 774-1

Sleeve: VG. Front laminated cover. The laminated cover does have some lifting-as can be seen in the images provided-but it is NOT SPLIT.
It has the rather unusual IMPORTANT WARNING text to the back, bottom-"The Association of the Southern African Phonographic Industry...."
The back card remains BLACK, which was a problem with these printings as they showed the lightest of rubbing....This baby doesn't :)
Solid condition.

AS GLOSSY as the day she was born too!
Great audio.
