Description
A wonderful grouping of the earliest “flat-top” Edison Blue Amberol records. These are the first variety of Blue Amberols, early mould generation, and renown for their superior sound. These early serial numbers (generally, but not limited to, serial numbers up to 2488) are directly mastered, and NOT simply dubbed from Diamond Disc records! I have listened to ALL of these, and there are NO skips on any of them. Majority of recordings grade at Excellent or above! All fit on mandrel perfectly, and none required any plaster reaming at all. Records have boxes, but no lids. THIS is what your Edison sounded like before management took cost cutting measures to the extreme and started dubbing from Diamond Discs.
