This Lp was released on the 10th July 1964. The 45rpm was released in April and at that time the Beatles' film had yet to get a title and as the story goes, Ringo emerged from a long days work saying "It's been a hard day," then seeing it was already dark added " 's night." This was then announced to the press as the title on the 17th of April. Ringo may have seen this phrase before in Lennons book "Sad Michael."
Holding a number 1 postition for a huge 21 weeks, from July the 25th!!!
This is also the ONLY Beatles album to have every track written by Lennon/McCartney.

HEAVWEIGHT QUALITY 150g
VG(+). Lovely heavy vinyl. There are ony light marks to the vinyl, with the audio remaining superb.
**PLAY LOUD-WOW-FULL OF ENERGY**
I have just listened to the whole album and didn't find any less enjoyment in playback.
I found the usual background occasional noise in the quieter sections-run ins and outs..But not a great deal at all! Just a gentle professional clean will certainly help this.

Solid, small mono in top right corner. Shiny front cover...With some small fingers of spidering to the edges of the front laminted cover and some small crescents of spidering near the opening. Also has a small worn split to the top seem, which is around 4cm.
The white backing card has just light discolouration from age and dirt.
NO WRITING
VERY STRONG CORNERS, with minimal rubbing.
The Garrod and Lofthouse flipbacks are in wonderfully strong condition.
STRONG, LEGIBLE spine.
Has "Patents Pending" to back bottom right corner flipback.

Inner: VG+. Plain white die-cut inner....With Patent number to one corner and MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN to the other corner,
NO SPLITS. She does have some light coloured age spots...Very nice indeed.
Certainly done her job by looking after this quality slab of vinyl.
