The Beatles
Abbey Road
WITHOUT 'Majesty'
151g!

Fantastic 1969 Beatles UK LP. This was the Beatles' 12th LP, released on the 26th September. It was also the last official Beatles release that was recorded by them. Staying at number one for almost 18 consecutive weeks, it was only knocked off by The Rolling Stones' "Let It Bleed."

Vinyl:
QUALITY, HEAVY 151g VINYL!!
VG. Lovely vinyl, she does carry light marks to her.
I have just listened to her all the way through and found the occasional pop and crackle, more evident inbetween tracks rather than during-I think this adds to it's authenticity! But do be aware this is not MINT, as I do not have a time machine!
I am sure the sound would improve with a gentle professional clean.
FLAT & SHINY
NO JUMPS OR SKIPS ON MY TECHNICS SL-BD20D TURNTABLE

Labels: VG+.
There are light spindle marks, these can be seen when angled towards the light...Barely any hole wear!
NO WRITING
Outer text begins: "Apple Records all rights.."
"Mfd. in U.K." text. The labels are nice and vibrant.
This is the 1st pressing DARKER version of this Apple label.

The last song credit DOES NOT HAVE "Her Majesty" on the Side 2 label.

Cover: VG.
The cover of this LP is solid, with only light wear.
The alignment of the Apple Logo on the back is inline with the text.
The spine does carry a split, but the title is still legible. There are some lines of spidering, around the outline of the record, near the corners....Nothing bad at all...Would still frame well
NO WRITING
Please see the detailed images for yourselves and click on them for even larger images and more detail.
SOLID COPY

It even has the really rather rare text: PATENT APPLIED FOR.
Also carries MADE IN ENGLAND
Certainly done her job by protecting this slab of vinyl all these years.
NO writing.
NO SPLITS
ALL ORIGINAL AND QUITE RARE

SO, FOLKS...THIS IS A LOVELY COLLECTABLE PIECE IN SOLID CONDITION..PLAYS THROUGH WITH SOME BACKGROUND NOISE BUT NO SKIPS ON MY DECK.
