A bit of history.....This album was first released on the 4th Dec 1964. Prior to its release there was a huge order of 750,000...which went on to break all records for advance orders of ANY album!!! Of course this meant the album went straight into the number 1 position in the U.K. charts, staying in the charts for 46 weeks!! POPULAR is too small a word for it!

VG. Lovely heavy vinyl. The vinyl does have many light marks, still retaining all it's is glory!
Does Not Skip or Jump!

I have just played her ALL THE WAY THROUGH...
Played loud, you can hear some background noise throughout, but I think this adds to it's appeal..Would benefit from a professional clean.
Deep and rich sound reproduction.


Labels: VG(+). Lovely and clear. LIGHT spindle marks, visible when angled towards the light.
Outer text "The Parlophone Co." (ONLY 1st Press have this) it DOES have the "Sold in the uk.." text.
NO writing.
Very little hole wear.

Cover: VG. Small Mono outline in top right corner.
Shiny front and back cover...
There are spidering areas to the laminate, with some light creasing to the bottom right corner-far from trashed!
  With wear to the spine and the corners to the top and bottom of the spine.
Good strong inner flipbacks.
But come on we all know how delicate this gatefold cover is....I am being very critical and honest for you-you get what is described.

Inner: VG. It is the original USE EMITEX poly-lined inner, which is very early as it also has the "Patents Applied For" & "Made In England" printed to one side. A bit of staining to one side, as well as some light creasing but NO SPLITS or TEARS!
