Beatles For Sale
1st Press
152g vinyl
A bit of history.....This album was first released on the 4th Dec 1964. Prior to its release there was a huge order of 750,000...which went on to break all records for advance orders of ANY album!!! Of course this meant the album went straight into the number 1 position in the U.K. charts, staying in the charts for 46 weeks!! POPULAR is too small a word for it!

LOVELY AND EARLY
Vinyl:
152g QUALITY VINYL
VG(+). Lovely heavy vinyl. The vinyl does have some light marks, but still retains all it's is glory!
Does Not Skip or Jump!
FLAT-SHINY-HEAVY
I have just played her ALL THE WAY THROUGH...
Played loud, you can hear some occasional background noise, but it's not too bad and I think this adds to it's appeal..Would benefit from a professional clean.
I noticed inbetween tracks 2 and 3 and just at the start of trk 3,there was a few audible pops-but again, not really bad.
Deep and rich sound reproduction.
Labels: VG(+). Lovely and clear. LIGHT spindle marks, visible when angled towards the light.
Outer text "The Parlophone Co." (ONLY 1st Press have this) it DOES have the "Sold in the uk.." text.
NO writing.
Very little hole wear.
LOVELY
Cover: VG+. Small Mono outline in top right corner.
Shiny front and back cover...
There are only a few very small crescents of spidering areas to the laminate, with some fingers of spidering eminating from the edges.
WONDERFULLY STRONG SPINE
Super strong inner flipbacks.
This has survived incredibly well over the years as we all know how delicate this gatefold cover is....I am being very critical and honest for you-you get what is described.
NO WRITING.
NO splits
PLEASE SEE THE DETAILED IMAGES PROVIDED-CLICK ON THEM FOR EVEN LARGER IMAGES AND SEE MY FEEDBACK FOR FAIR GRADING AND HAPPY CUSTOMERS
Inner: VG. It is a plain white, double windowed inner with NO SPLITS or TEARS...Just a little feathering near the opening.
A VERY NICE BEATLES LP-WITH GREAT, RAW SOUND REPRODUCTION.
AS THE BEATLES WANTED YOU TO HEAR THEM, FROM BACK IN THE DAY
