The Beatles
Abbey Road
WITHOUT 'Majesty'
153g

Fantastic 1969 Beatles UK LP. This was the Beatles' 12th LP, released on the 26th September. It was also the last official Beatles release that was recorded by them. Staying at number one for almost 18 consecutive weeks, it was only knocked off by The Rolling Stones' "Let It Bleed."

LOVELY & EARLY HERE

Vinyl:
QUALITY, HEAVY 153g VINYL
VG-.
Lovely vinyl, she does carry light marks to her.
I have just listened to her all the way through and found the audio reproduction to be lovely-deep and rich.
I noticed only very occasional background noise, with the audio remaining deep and rich.
The unfortunate part was a couple of skips at the start of track 1, with a small amount of shilling, as well as another skip about half way through side 1. These are only brief, with the quality audio making up for the skips.
FLAT & SHINY

Labels:
EX.
There are light spindle marks, these can only be seen when angled towards the light...With almost zero hole wear.
NO WRITING
Outer text begins: "Apple Records all rights.."
"Mfd. in U.K." text. The labels are nice and vibrant.
This is the 1st pressing DARKER version of this Apple label.

The last song credit DOES NOT HAVE "Her Majesty" on the Side 2 label.

Cover:
VG.
The cover of this LP remains SOLID, with just minimal wear.
The alignment of the Apple Logo on the back is inline with the text.
The spine has a small split in the centre, which would not be visible when framed.
There are some small crescents of spidering, near the opening....Again...Would frame well.
NO WRITING.
Please see the detailed images for yourselves and click on them for even larger images and more detail.
VERY NICE

Inner:
VG.
Die-cut period inner, in great shape!
It has "MADE IN ENGLAND" to the bottom.
There is a small split to the bottom seem.
Certainly done her job by protecting this slab of vinyl all these years.
NO writing.
ALL ORIGINAL

SO, FOLKS...THIS IS A LOVELY COLLECTABLE PIECE IN A SOLID STATE..PLAYS THROUGH WITH A RICH AUDIO REPRODUCTION, ALBEIT WITH THE TINY SKIPS...WHICH IS WHY SHE IS A BARGAIN PRICE.
ALL COMPLETE AND READY FOR PLAYING OR FRAMING
