Released on the 17th of April 1964, this album was the first Stones' album on the DECCA label. There have been many pressings of this album in the following years-With the first AND second pressings having the shortened version of MONA. This pressing is the 2nd, with the corrected and longer version of 'I Need You Baby' (Later: 'Mona')

The vinyl
HEAVYWEIGHT 155g
VG-. There are some light marks to her which remain whispy. However, track 1, side 2 has a small mark which makes her skip 3 times during the track...Other than that, she sounds great.
 I have just listened to ALL of it and it just sounds like the Stones at their raw best!
Deep rich bass and clear audio sound reproduction.
There is the occasional background noise-would benefit from a professional clean.
She is lovely and flat-a real beauty to listen to and hear the start of something huge!

The labels VG..Clear and bright, with the lucious deep red colour assosiated with the first early MONO pressings. They have quite a few light traces of spindle marks, visible when angled to the light-with minimal hole wear....

THE 2nd PRINTING OF THIS ICONIC COVER.
DOES have the 'Mono' to the back top right corner.
Some light discolouration to the back card, as well as a small tear near the opening.
The front has some spidering to the laminate-Nothing terrible though.
NO splits to the seams or spine.

The Inner EX! It is the ORIGINAL DECCA starred inner, with the poly-lining.
Great shape with just some rubbing to one side and discoloration through age.
Certainly looked after the vinyl all of these years.

All in all this is a lovely, solid copy of The Stones' first album, which in itslef is VERY HARD TO FIND...Most of these were taken to wild parties and trashed.
Plays through with SOLID AUDIO REPRODUCTION BUT WITH A COUPLE OF SKIPS ON ONE TRACK-SO WOULD MAKE A VERY GOOD FILLER AT THE VERY LEAST-QUALITY HEAVYWEIGHT VINYL, WHEN THEY KNEW HOW TO MAKE 'EM!
