A bit of history.....This album was first released on the 4th Dec 1964. Prior to its release there was a huge order of 750,000...which went on to break all records for advance orders of ANY album!!! Of course this meant the album went straight into the number 1 position in the U.K. charts, staying in the charts for 46 weeks!! POPULAR is too small a word for it!

She is a wonderful FLAT slab of vinyl, with light marks to her.
I have just played her all the way through...
WITHOUT JUMPS OR STICKS!!
(they knew how to make vinyl back then!!)
There is some light background noise....But I was incredibly happy with quality of audio reproduction...SOLID THROUGHOUT the whole disc. I noticed a light a revolutionary tick on track 6, side 1, near the start-not bat at all....fades out after around 7 revolutions. I also noticed some light pops at the end of track 5 on side 2.
Again-not bad at all
Would benefit from just a gentle professional clean.
She still retains all her glory.
Sounds great  :)

Labels: VG+. Lovely and clear.
Only light spindle marks, visible when angled towards the light.
Proud and raised 'KT' tax code to side 1.
Outer text "The Parlophone Co." (ONLY 1st Press have this) it DOES have the "Sold in the uk.." text.
Only a very small amount of hole wear.
Lovely, clear silver text.

VERY HARD TO FIND THESE DELICATE COVERS IN FAB CONDITION.
Mono outline in top right corner. Shiny front and back cover...There are small crescent spidering areas to the two sided laminate with a couple of small finger spiderings emanating from the spine of the gatefold sleeve...There is a line of spidering to the top left corner-evident to the front and back-as well as some lifting to the front laminate, but not cracked through...see if you can spot it in the detailed images provided....
The top and bottom corners of the spine have some rubbing, with the top being more knocked, but without splits.
The inner flipbacks are still wonderfully strong.

Inner: EX(+)+.  It is the ORIGINAL "Use Emitex" inner, with the tracing paper lining.
She is in simply marvellous condition!!
