The Tommy Dorsey Show Show # 4A Starring: Tommy Dorsey and his Orchestra with Featured Vocalists Jack Duffy Johnny Amoroso   "THE TOMMY DORSEY SHOW was a historic 1950 Jazz music radio show that was produced by the United States Navy. Each week would star the legendary Big Band Jazz Bandleader Tommy Dorsey and his Orchestra. There were different featured vocalists every week and Don Wilson acted as Announcer. Each show runs exactly 15 minutes and includes all the US Navy spots. Besides all the great Big Band Jazz music, there is also some very rare and exclusive interviews with Tommy Dorsey. Tommy even does some inspired and very patriotic plugs for the Navy. These music radio shows were like PSAs and they helped promote Navy recruitment. Family Friendly Entertainment from the Golden Age of Radio!  
This 16 inch vinyl Radio Transcription disc is in Excellent to Very Good Plus condition. It is very glossy with very light wear. The disc ships in a paper jacket. The pictures you see are of the labels of the exact record being sold. Note: This over sized 16 inch Radio disc will not play on a standard 12 inch record players and it requires both a specially designed turntable and transcription stylus. If you would like to have and listen to this very rare record but don't have any way to play it, don't worry because the winning buyer can get a  CD of these exact radio shows for a small lab fee.
