Description

BLUE BARRON & HIS ORCHESTRA, NBC, August 17, 1938, 12:30AM. NBC recording, single sided 16" aluminum disc, part 1 only. Label partially missing. Excellent sound, disc in remarkable condition for something close to 78 years old. Music typical (i.e. in a blindfold test if you asked me if this was Sammy Kaye or Guy Lombardo or Blue Barron, I'd say "who cares" and escape, blindfolded or not).  (Update: I've been threatened by sweet band enthusiasts..since I don't want to be smeared in corn syrup, please don't take my opinions all that seriously. But I'm going to go play some Duke Ellington.)
