Description
Approx. 16 tracks of music cues from the CBS Music Library. All are of the suspenseful variety. Includes three tracks by Bernard Herrmann plus a shortened duplicate. The Herrmann tracks are:

0:00-1:17: WESTERN SUITE: Waiting (never commercially released)
1:18-3:50: WESTERN SUITE: Waiting - Longer complete version (never commercially released)
3:59-5:29: WESTERN SUITE: Prelude (Available on LP and CD)
5:33-7:09: WESTERN SUITE: Gunfight (Available on LP and CD)
The remaining music cues, which are not by Herrmann, have not been identified and most likely have never been released on any commercial media. That in itself makes this disc unique and a rare addition to a soundtrack collection. The label of the disc indicates it was created on 12-18-57. It is most likely this disc was compiled for use on an upcoming radio program.
I've owned this disc for the last 30 years. About 10 years ago the label fell off the disc and so I taped it to the paper sleeve. The disc is in very nice shape. Look at the photos and you can see my reflection from taking the pictures.
This disc is truly a collector's item for someone specializing in the film/radio scores of legendary composer, Bernard Herrmann, and dramatic music for radio. It deserves to be given a good home. I will include with the disc a .wav file of the tracks if you have no way to play back the disc. Make a reasonable offer and this bit of musical history is yours.
