Description

Here's a 16 inch transcription disc / record from the 1960s.  The title of this record is Guest Star which is a music program presented by the Treasury Department, U. S. Savings Bonds Division.  Artists are recorded in the studio with some patter between songs. Artists read U. S. Savings Bonds announcements.
This particular program features "Guest Stars" Robert Merrill and Special Guest, Mrs. U.S. Savings Bonds with Del Sharbutt and Joel Herron Orchestra / Peggy King with Del Sharbutt and Joel Herron Orchestra on program No. 807-08 and The Noteworthies / Les Paul & Mary Ford with Del Sharbutt and Joel Herron Orchestra on program No. 809-10. 
These records were delivered to, and played on radio stations before the more common use of audio tape and consequently, were only played once. Record speed is 33 1/3 rpm.
You will need a record player capable of playing 16 inch records, commonly called "transcription records".
