Description
This record is one of the "One Night Stand" series of Armed Forces Radio Service 16" disks used for broadcasts over the radio. My turntable is of the standard size so I could not test this, but the gentleman I'm selling these for still has the large-format turntable used in the day. His description is, "(The record) is in mint condition! It has the opening and closing announcements with the band's theme song."
• Recorded from the Cafe Rouge in the Hotel Statler, New York City 1950
• Series: END-25, Parts 1 & 2, total duration 30 minutes
• Normal wear with age-related fine scratches but no warping.
• Part 1 label has some handwriting and rubber stamping (2nd image).
• In original sleeve
