This was the Beatles' second official release, following their hugely popular Please Please Me. This record was released on the 30th November 1963 and went to the number 1 position (knocking of their own Please Please Me lp) on the 7th of December. Staying at number 1 for 21 weeks! As a little note: they had already sold 250,000 copies before the release and so accepted a silver disc BEFORE release!

VG. There are just light marks visible to the vinyl.
I have just listened to the WHOLE record and found some light background noise, which I am sure will improve with just a gentle professional clean....Not terrible at all!

There are light traces of spindle marks visible when angled towards the light, as well as a small degree of central hole wear.
Outer text "The Parlophone Co." 
No "Sold In" text.

"Really Gotta Hold On Me" listing for track 3, side 2.
These labels were quickly corrected and recalled, making this an increasingly rare copy.
NOT FORGETTING THE ICING ON THE CAKE: A 'MKT' TRANSITIONAL TAX CODE-REALLY VERY UNUSUAL FOR THIS PRESSING-ESPECIALLY WITH JOBETE CREDIT TOO!!

This cover has been very well looked after by a fan...There are just a few fingers of spidering eminating from the seems to the front laminate-THAT IS IT!!
I see there are two small nicks to the back card near the opening-nothing at all to worry about.
NO splits/tears or even writing
A bit discoloured to the back card.
Really is a top notch 1st Print-which would look great framed.


Inner: EX. It is an ORIGINAL "USE EMITEX" tracing paper lined inner in simply SUPERB shape.
Certainly done her job looking after this slab of vinyl for 50 years!
