This Lp was released on the 10th July 1964. The 45rpm was released in April and at that time the Beatles' film had yet to get a title and as the story goes, Ringo emerged from a long days work saying "It's been a hard day," then seeing it was already dark added " 's night." This was then announced to the press as the title on the 17th of April. Ringo may have seen this phrase before in Lennons book "Sad Michael."
Holding a number 1 position for a huge 21 weeks, from July the 25th!!!
This is also the ONLY Beatles album to have every track written by Lennon/McCartney.

VG(+). Lovely heavy vinyl with a gorgeous sheen. There are light marks to both sides BUT after playing her all the way through I found the sound reproduction to be superb! Only occasional background noise.
DEEP RICH BASS & CLEAR PEAKS TOO
A gentle professional clean and you've got a great copy.
 Very nice indeed.

Labels: VG-. Lovely and clear. Quite a lot of light spindle marks visible when angled towards bright light, with quite a lot of central hole wear, as you can see in the images provided...They have been sympathetically touched up.

RARE E J DAY COVER-These were made for just a few hundred releases of this record and are quite difficult to find in any condition. They mark the very 1st release of this record too!

Shiny front cover...With ja few small fingers and crescents of spidering to the front laminted cover.
SOLID CONDITION!!
Only slightly discoloured white card backing from age...but I do too :)
The back also has one address crossed out and has another small name to the bottom-nothing terrible at all.
Good strong corners too.
WONDERFUL E J Day flipbacks in great condition.

Superbly strong and legible spine.

Has "Printed and made by E J Day & Co. Ltd. London" lovely and clear to back bottom right corner flipback.
