Description
Sixteen 78 rpm records- a mix of blues, jazz, and country. Records appear to be in good condition although they were not played except to check visible issues or overall music vs noise. See notes below. Therefore, records are sold as is with no returns. They will be shipped via Priority Mail with insurance unless a different shipping option is requested.
1- Victor V-38538- Bessie Tucker- Old Black Mary/ Mean Old Black Stropper Blues-( Excellent record no wear around spindle hole)
2- Victor V-38529- Clifford Hayes' Louisville Stompers- You're Ticklin' Me/ Everybody Wants My Tootelum- (another excellent disc- same as above)
3- Victor V-38021 Bennie Moten's Kansas City Orch- She's No Trouble/ South- good copy
4- OKEH 8597 Louis Armstrong and His Hot Five- West End Blues/ Fireworks ( a few scuffs and lite scr but plays loud and clear
5- Victor V-40017 Buddy Baker- Alimony Blues/ Matrimonial Intentions (has slight heat damage on edge. Swishes about 1/4" both sides. Remainder of record sounds great)
6- Vocalion 1703 Leroy Carr and Scrapper Blackwell- Gone Mother Blues/ Midnight Hour Blues- both sides very noisy start- clears up but still w significant noise. Music is clear.
7- Romeo 5223 Buddy Moss- TB's Killing Me/ Hard Time Blues- well worn record w graying grooves but plays well w some noise
8- OKEH 8180 Butterbeans and Susie- A Married Man's a Fool/ I Can't Use You- few scr- clicks a few times but music sounds good)
9- Actuelle 020665 Synco Jazz Band- Mysterious Blues/ Dangerous Blues- plays great
10- Vocalion 1745 Big Bill- Bull Cow Blues/ How You Want It Done? (Well worn but plays well w some noise after noisy starts)
11- Decca 866 Louis Armstrong- Swing That Music (clean side)/ Thankful (Long scr about 4"- clicks but doesn't skip)
12- Columbia 1335 Charleston Chasers- Mississippi Mud/ My Melancholy Baby (few lite scr but plays great)
13- Gennett 4933 Joe Samuels and His Master Players- Tricks (arcuate crack- clicks and jumps 1 groove)/ Bailey's Lucky Seven- Chicago (arcuate crack-plays thru w minimal clicks)
14- Cameo 487 Bernard and Ferara- It Ain't Gonna Rain No Mo'/ Blanche Klaise- Daddy- Change your Mind (plays well has slight noise)
15- Decca 5277 New Dixie Demons- Piles of It/ The Preacher and the Bear- shiny record- looks great
16- Victor V-40020 Crooks Bros. String Band- Jobbin' Gettin' There/ My Wife Died on Friday Night (Well worn copy but plays well w lite noise)
