Description

Offered is a circa 1826 Wales sampler. It is decorated with birds, a ship with sailor, and a line from Garrick’s poem “Hearts of Oak”. It reads:

Elizabeth Thomas, Hearts of oak are our ships.

Frame measures: 14” x 9”.

Condition issues should be evident in pictures. Fading, light spotting, & a few loose stitches. Overall a nice looking sampler.
