1880s Antique Scottish Wool Thread Holder Mauchline Ware Sewing Treen Sycamore


3 1/4" diameter
These were made in Scotland around 1880 90's.  They were made of Sycamore wood since it does not split like other woods. It has pictures of buildings and a street with 'High Street, Aberdour"  under picture. It has its original hanging cord.  A ball of thread or yarn is placed in the ball and comes out a hole in the top. In very good condition.
