are complete Catalogs of recordings made by HMV, Columbia and their Affiliates in Europe.
These monumental reference books are indispensable for research and discographies, as they will list all recordings made by a performer.
You will find performers that other references, like the Gramophone Collector or Kutsch Riemens omit, and discographies can be cross referenced to these works.
The Scope of each of these Multi Volume books are Celebrity recordings, as defined as Operatic, light classical singers, classical instrumentalists and orchestral recordings.
The listings are very comprehensive, listings include Catalog Number, Matrix, Performer, Title, Composer, Date where available. Albums are listed in their different couplings.
