Maleschi, Giorgio, tenor, * 1876 Palermo, † 1908 Florence; Hardly any biographical facts are known of this tenor, who died at the age of 32. It can be assumed that his career took place in small and medium-sized houses in the Italian province. However, his voice has been handed down through early recordings, exclusively solos. The first came out in 1900 as Berliner Records, in 1904 a few more recordings followed on G & T.


Carlo Caffetto (Tenor) (Verona, Italy 1869 - London, England 1909)

 


 



He made his debut at a very young age around 1890 and immediately sang important roles. It’s possible that he was active in England in his last years. He issued records for Gramophone and Odeon Fonotipia.
