YES they did some wonderful unique things in the late 1960s, early 1970s!
These are VERY RARE! AND YES a conversation piece as hardly any exist anymore, let alone sealed.
Look at pictures carefully but here are the details.........
On Official Buddah Records the NORCROSS company, known for greeting cards decided to cash in and explore the young teen buying audience with these 3 inch tunes of the day 3 inch flexi discs packed inside a folding "Groovy Greeting Card" (Their words) you would remove it from the wrapper as instructed on back of package (shown in picture) fold it with the record, address it, stamp it and mail that potential loved one, relative, friend some shared music! Actual a very unique idea and perfect for the time!
This was like giving someone a special memory gift!
Now after all these years here is one never mailed, used, or open! Last one left from old store stock!
The 1910 Fruitgum Co. 1968 Chart topper on Billboards Hot 100 to hit #4 "Simon Says" BW the original B-side "Reflections From The Looking Glass" This was far from bubblegum and is a very trippy tune BTW....I always loved it.
So if you enjoy having every odd music format, this is for you! SEALED!
