TALKING BOOK CORPORATION RECORD CARD
"I AM A DANCING GIRL" (1918)
Antique Die Cut Record Card with a real 4-1/4" Shellac 78 Record attached to the front, music and lyrics printed on back: "Learning To Dance" by James Edmiston and A.E. Johnstone
approx 9" tall x 6" wide
this is one of the earliest examples of a Children's Record, made in New York City more than 100 years ago. the die cut card is in nice condition overall apart from the partially missing foot. the little 78 record is scratched and in poor condition, it skipped before the end when I play tested it, the background noise overpowers a faint woman's voice....kind of spooky actually, since 1918 was the year of the Spanish Flu Epidemic.
