Active as a country music recording artist in the 1920s and 1930s with many different labels, Roberts was a legendary oldtime country fiddler from Kentucky.
Record will be shipped via BOXED priority mail with the record protected by and cushioned between sturdy pieces of corrugated board; record also in a plastic sleeve (in addition to the UNORIGINAL 1940s 78 sleeve which comes with it) to protect against moisture; plus protected by bubblewrap within the priority box. I've been successfully shipping 78rpm records since 1962.
CONDITION (PLEASE READ CAREFULLY): Record graded by actually listening to both sides with a mono record player. Using Spin Connection's grading policy for 78 rpm records, it would rate V+ on both sides - both aurally and visually.
There's a VERY SMALL amount of gloss to both sides; definite surface noise but - especially on DANCE WITH A GAL - that quiets considerably after about 15-20 seconds; then music is considerably LOUDER than surface noise; fair number of minor tiny scratches; NO DIGS; NO SKIPS; NO CRACKS. Labels are rubbed and worn as you can see - but still presentable. I've been grading, selling and shipping 78 rpm records successfully by mail since 1962. Accompanied by a much more modern record sleeve from another 78rpm record company. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ (the fine print ...
