Description

This is a 1921 antique 78 rmp Columbia Record of Al Jolson performing "April Showers" on side A and and Vernon Dalhart singing"Weep No More (My Mammy)" on side b.  Discogs describes the music as early "Jazz, Big Band".   The song "April Showers" is from the musical extravaganza "Bombo".  The 10" 78 is shellac, Columbia  #A3500, produced by the Columbia Graphophone Company. The vintage record is in a period Columbia paper sleeve.  I inherited this gramophone record more than 35 years ago from the original owner.  It was never played by my family so I don't have any idea if or how well the record might play now.  It seems to be in great shape for its age although it does need cleaning.  The sleeve is worn and exhibits some bends and tears.  As we inherited many vintage records from the same individual, I don't know if the sleeves were ever switched with another record.   The record is sold as is.
