Description

You are bidding on Blues Singer Sippie Wallace, In 1923 she moved to Chicago with the help of her brother she met the general manager of OKeh Records. Three months after her first record was pressed with OKeh, she was on top of the black record industry, she recorded more than forty songs for OKeh from 1924 to 1927 with such sidemen as Louis Armstrong, Johnny Dodds, Clarence Williams, and others.

conservatively graded V++ / E-
Played on Victor III phonograph with a cactus needle, using the VJM Record Grading System. E- (78), is still shiny but without the luster of a new record, few light scratches. V+ (78) is an average condition 78 in which scuffs and general use has dulled the finish somewhat. Wear is moderate but playing is generally free from distortion. Surface noise not overly pronounced.
