Here's a 1938 UK Parlophone issue of two classic Bessie Smith recordings.
Trombone Cholly: recorded 3 March 1927. Charlie Green - Trombone, Fletcher Henderson - Piano, Joe Smith - Trumpet
Yellow Dog Blues: recorded 5 May 1925. Joe Smith (c), Charlie Green (tb), Buster Bailey (cl), Coleman Hawkins(ts), Fletcher Henderson (p), Charlie Dixon (bjo), Bob Escudero (bb) - this was originally issued as Bessie Smith acc by Henderson's Hot Six.
