Original 1926 US 78 rpm issue.
Guitar - Bobbie Leecan & Harmonica - Robert Cooksey
Recorded September 27, 1926 in New York, NY.
Two fine and early Guitar-Harmonica instrumental Blues sides by Leecan And Cooksey (the first sides under their own name?) . These fellas were also part of Bobbie Leecan's Need-More Band, Dixie Jazzers Washboard Band, Morris's Hot Babies, South Street Trio, The New Orleans Wild Cats, Thomas Morris And His Seven Hot Babies and backed a few singers in the 20s.

condition: (grading is from 1 to 10 with 10 being new) visually: 5 to 6 out of 10 (light scratches and scuffs, some dulling and a bit dirty looking) plays: 4/5 to 6 out of 10 (somewhat louder crackle that starts to fade to the background after 40 or so secs) Looks V to V+ plays V-/V to V+

NOTE: all recordings were made with a digital USB connection Stanton player, and recorded in lo-fi audio quality. Especially with the 78 rpm recordings the sound will be worse than when played on a proper set-up.
The crackle or hiss sound worse then when we play these on our old Lenco L70.
