Original 1929 copy of these classic Mississippi String Band sides. The Leake County Revelers were from in and around Sebastopol, Mississippi.
Both sides recorded 16 April 1929 in Atlanta, GA.

Do note that these 78s are all recorded with a modern Stanton USB turntable. The Stanton is a expensive motha but really sounds like crap! All these sound so much better on our old early 60s Lenco player. The Stanton makes all the ticks and crackle sound worse and more metalic. (Maybe I should have noted this earlier when listing stuff like the Dock Boggs and Louie Lasky 78s).
