Description
This was one of a number of special releases for the Abbaye de Scourmont. This is the Trappist Monastery where Chimay Beer is made. I played this with my "modern" 78rpm turntable with a lightweight tonearm and this played fine. It contains organs and Monks singing. Music on both sides. Record is a cardboard core with a laminated record attached. Record is in great shape. Some staining any time wear but edges are clean and not bashed and record surface is not peeling from the edges, cracked or scratched up. I am familiar with A LOT of unusual record formats and this is in fantastic condition considering the materials used to make it. I would say it has not been play much. Semen seems to have been a Belgium company.
