Here’s something never previously listed on eBay - it’s the '1931 NUMERICAL LIST OF VICTOR RECORDS.’ As the cover states:- “Containing all records announced prior to and including, the February 1931 Supplement. [It] Contains a complete list in Numerical Order of all records (in all languages) that are sold by Dealers in the United States.” If it was issued on Victor and available in February 1931, it’s here! Mouthwatering lists of Jazz, Blues, Country, and Popular Music 78s, along with Operatic, Orchestral and page after page of Ethnic music - Hebrew, Turkish, Armenian, Greek, Slovak, Syrian, and loads more - see the photo of the Foreign Language Series page for a full listing.
Each Record entry has space for the dealer to keep note of his inventory throughout the year and, starting in 1927, gives the release date of every issue. So if you want to know when Frank Stokes’ ’Shiney Town Blues/Right Now Blues’ Victor V38589 was issued it will tell you - June 6, 1930.
This copy belonged to legendary Discographer Brian Rust, and has a (very) few annotations made by him.

Condition: Very Good. Complete, but spine has been repaired at some point and the cover has been protected by a thick, clear plastic protector.
