Career 
He completed his high school studies and music in his hometown. With his exceptional musical talent, he attracted attention as early as the age of 9. His first great success was the much mentioned 1903 . He ran at the primate competition of 2006, at the head of the orchestra of the Hungarian brothers. The jury awarded the production of the Hungarian brothers with a gold medal, and the children's primate won the special prize of Béla Fráter, a gold medalion. In 1909 he performed with his father's band in Siófok , then he became the assistant primate of Béla Radics' ensemble.

He formed his own band in 1916 , a successful career at the Royal Hotel that began.

1925 . On December 2, he was the first to play music on Hungarian Radio . After a series of radio appearances, his name was soon known abroad. Upscale spas competed with each other to win guest appearances. They once played music for an upscale company in London . Under the influence of the mood, one of their admirers grabbed a glass and gave a greeting in ornate Gypsy language. They looked at each other for a short time without hesitation. After all, Imre Magyari replied in English: “Thank you very much for the nice speech, but unfortunately we didn't understand a word of it. It is true that we are gypsy musicians, but Hungarians! ” Jack Hylton and Paul Whiteman met at the timeHe was also always visited by the world-famous orchestra conductors, who had been to Budapest every time, at the Hungária Hotel, where he played music for more than 20 years.

His personality and art were often praised in foreign newspapers as well. One of the French newspapers wrote about him: “Imrén Magyari, with a smiling face, is always in an impeccable tuxedo. He drives his tow with amazing safety, playing with simple, almost classic correctness. The Hungarian songs sound with their captivating beauty and exceptional purity on everyone. ” His father-in-law, Béla Radics, stated most aptly about his playing: "Imre Easy," he said, "as he is already in percussion with his violin." In 1930, he won the Radio Life Popularity Competition by a large majority. At the time, he was the only primate visited by every world celebrity. Arturo Toscanini , Erich Kleiber , Wilhelm Furtwängler(who allegedly offered him a concert craft) had personal acquaintances like Pablo Casals , Beniamino Gigli , Giacomo Lauri-Volpi , Lawrence Tibbett and many others. American movie star Wallace Berry also befriended him. Yehudi Menuhin spoke with great appreciation about Magyar, saying: "Hungarian violin is wonderfully clear, its tone is comparable to that of the greatest violinists." Many records of his former playing have survived.

As a songwriter he was also successful, his authorial work began in one evening when Ányos Laci, the popular songwriter, also came to the Hungária Hotel. During the break, Imre Magyari also settled next to him and said that he had a new melody, but unfortunately he didn't have any lyrics yet. If only this trouble was answered by Ányos Laci we can easily help her. Just play that melody a few times, Imre! All right, said the songwriter, "come back to me next break, the lyrics will be ready." This is how their joint song I Cry for a Rose was born .

He has also appeared in several Hungarian films, he was the first gypsy primate whose name was mentioned in the films.
