VERY RARE:
1938 PARSIFAL Performance
w/ Flagstad & Melchior –
4LP Box -
EJS Private Issue Set



Extraordinarily rare, this is a “private issue” of the Bodanzky PARSIFAL performed at the old Met, the soloists including Flagstad, Melchior, Schorr, Cordon, List, and Gabor.

Plain black box has the Opera Title stenciled on the side, which has three corners split, the lift-top still operating well.  Within, are four EJS heavy platters in near-mint playing condition. 

An early Wagner blessed with Flagstad and Melchior. A collectible, to be sure, that is a treasure for many.

Shipping and handling is $5 for up to 5 LPs shipped within the States. Internationally, $15 via airmail for the first LP, $3 each thereafter. (Canada is half that.) Boxes over 4 lbs., add another $6, because First Class is no longer available at that weight, just Priority Mail. Note, too, boxed sets of LPs require more postage.
