Description
Here's a small 5" Inch aluminum one sided record from the 1939 Golden Gate International Exposition.I listened to the record and it is a spoken word record by a Mother and a Father to their son Bill.There's some background noise during play but the wording comes through loud and clear.Record is a total of 50 seconds long only.Starts out with Mom talking a short time about seeing the new Pontiac cars.She hands it off to Dad and he also mentions the new Pontiacs.Dad says they just had Dinner in San Francisco and asks about a long letter he sent.I believe he says the son Bill is in Alaska.Not a very long recording as it's less than one minute long.Record has 5 indentation/bend spots but none seem to affect play at all.The most noticeable one is near the 4 O'Clock area of record.Some scratches as well but none seem to affect play.Record is relatively flat not really warped.Just has the indentation spots.I guess this was recorded in a booth at the International Exposition in 1939.
